GE Transportation Features its New Rail Software Acquisition at InnoTrans 2012

Completed in January 2012, this acquisition highlights GE Transportation’s commitment to the global rail industry with a broadened ability to provide secure, reliable and cost-effective Software as a Service (SaaS) and licensed solutions that support daily, mission-critical rail operations.

RailConnect Transportation Management System

RailDOCS complies with the latest FRA rules and regulations as well as railroad company policies for signal maintenance and inspection to ensure compliance.
OASIS Intermodal Terminal Operating System
This innovative solution is used by intermodal rail terminals across North America to manage operations, automate workflow and process inventory. It also represents GE’s leading intermodal rail terminal operating system software that delivers precise control of terminal events, inventory and work-flow management, sophisticated train scheduling and loading, and inbound and outbound gate processing.
