Rocking out for Erie Kids

Last night was the annual Rock for Kids, an evening of music to benefit Make-A-Wishthe Boys & Girls Club and Shriners Hospital for Children. The event, supported by GE's Association of Program Members, was held at Erie Ale House and featured music, food and drink specials, games and raffles. While last year’s event raised over $2,500, this year’s numbers are anticipated to be a win again.

The next event, the 21st annual Bids for Kids, will be held February 20 at the Erie Convention Center. This semi-formal dinner event will feature games and auctions throughout the evening to support local youth. Visit www.bidsforkidserie.com for more information and to purchase tickets.

Last year, Bids for Kids events raised more than $185,000. Over the years, Bids for Kids has raised more than $1 million for children’s charities.
