Yuvbir Singh is Vice President & Locomotive, Marine, Stationary Power and Drill Leader at GE Transportation.
Yuvbir previously served as the General Manager of Engineered Systems at GE Water & Process Technologies, a division of GE Power & Water, where he oversaw a global team that developed and delivered proven solutions that comprise of an extensive portfolio of projects, products and service offerings. Yuvbir joined GE in 1995 as an application engineer for GE Fanuc.
After moving to the U.S. in 1998, Yuvbir worked on the Honeywell integration team before transitioning to a business development role for various industrial and infrastructure businesses in 2001. In his six years in mergers and acquisitions/integration, Yuvbir was responsible for over $4 billion in transactions. Yuvbir joined GE Power & Water in 2004 as business development leader, where he worked on the acquisition and integration of Ionics and Zenon and led several divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. Since 2007, he served as P&L leader for various portfolios within the water business, culminating in the leadership of the entire engineered systems portfolio.
Yuvbir has an Engineering Degree in Electronics from the University of Pune, India.
