Richard was appointed as Vice President & Global Supply Chain Leader for GE Transportation in March 2012 and was named Vice President in August 2012.
Richard joined GE as part of its Manufacturing Managers Program in 1984. After starting his career at GE Aviation, he joined GE Lighting in 1989 and worked in a number of Supply Chain roles before being named General Manager, Lighting Manufacturing Americas, in 2003. He subsequently served in a number of Supply Chain and Lean Six Sigma roles before joining GE Appliances as General Manager, Sourcing in 2010. He was additionally named that year as General Manager of Indirect Sourcing for GE. He joined GE Transportation in August 2011 as Global Services Supply Chain Operations Leader.
Richard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
He and his wife Donna have two adult children. He is active in his church and enjoys fitness and outdoor activities.
