Marcos Costa is a Brazilian electrical engineer who graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais with a specialization in business administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation, Brazil.
He has over 30 years of experience in the infrastructure market, having occupied top management positions in capital goods companies in the power sector.
From 2006 to 2015, he was Senior Vice President of Global Power Sales at Alstom, Vice President of Latin America Renewable Power and Thermal Power Sectors, and President of Alstom Brazil.
In 2015, after GE acquired Alstom Power business, he became the Latin America Strategic Customer Accounts leader in energy generation.
In 2016, he became the President and CEO of GE Transportation in Latin America.
