Jason Frierott is the Chief Financial Officer of GE Transportation. Jason joined General Electric in 1998 in GE Capital’s Financial Management Program. In 2001, he joined the Corporate Audit Staff where he spent seven and a half years supporting the former Energy businesses and led a company-wide review of industrial revenue recognition.
In 2008, Jason was promoted to CFO of Power Services and then a regional CFO role in Power Generation Services, when it was created in 2010. In 2012 he was promoted to the CFO for PGS Service Operations, and later that year, after the Energy Infrastructure business was restructured, was named the Global FP&A Leader for Power & Water, helping to establish that operation as a stand-alone business.
Jason is married with two daughters: four years old and twenty months old. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
